Knowing how much time we all spent at home in 2020, the Verve and Velocity team made sure to provide fun at-home activities for their residents. They teamed up with Cooking with Alessandra, a local Des Moines cook, to give their residents a virtual Zoom cooking class. With the full-kitchen appliances our apartment homes provide, residents were able to cook up a storm in their own kitchen.

The virtual cooking class was a great event to learn new recipes and techniques from an expert, all while enjoying the comfort of staying home. Residents were thankful to be able to bond with other residents in a no-touch world and it was a great way to make everyone feel like a culinary pro in no time.
